The IT field, especially programming and especially the area of computer gaming, which by the way is the fastest growing industry in the world and is on the brink of overtaking the entertainment industry in terms of gross turnover, is one area where it actually is possible to create more work. Most importantly, it is not only able to create more work for programmers but actually possible to create more businesses. These in turn employ more people, not only programmers but also ancillary staff, such as sales people, human resources, project managers and even tea ladies!
